HOW DOES A COMMISSION WORK?
A commission is when you ask an artist to create something just for you. It could be you have a specific idea in mind. A different shape or colour to what the person usually makes. The artist and person collaborate together.
1 Enquiry / idea
You enquire whether the piece is something I can make based on my overall aesthetic, style and skills. You show me the piece I that you would like to be made. You provide a description, rough drawing and an idea of what you are thinking.
2 Rough scope & its a yes or a no
I will let you know if this is something I can make, approximate timeframe and price. You confirm whether you would like to proceed.
3 Delivery
I will invoice you 50% of the cost and once this is paid the piece is confirmed to proceed. I send you a rough sketch and photos to update you during the process.
Once it is completed, payment for the remaining 50% is received and your piece is ready to go to its forever home.
